Franco Lacan
Guitarist – Producer – Music Educator











François “Franco” Lacan is a French-British guitarist and composer/producer.
His musical journey began at a young age and he discovered some of his main influences during his teenage years – including notable figures like Jimi Hendrix and John Frusciante, and composers like Serge Gainsbourg and Ennio Morricone.
Besides studying jazz music at the American School of Modern Music (now IMEP) in his early twenties, Franco started doing session work and released two EPs with The Ivors.
He relocated to London in 2014, where he immersed himself in collaborations with diverse artists and bands.
Franco’s currently accompanying Sample Answer on the drums, as well as producing soundtracks and working with different artists on their own material.
